- For the posts of Sub-inspector & inspector: retired in the rank of Naib Subedar or above in the Army or equivalent rank in Navy or Air Force.

- Selection will be based on Marks Secured in the Interview. Preference will be given to those who have a background in Military Police or Special Forces, those with special Skills and training, and those who are below 45 years of age.
