Online RTI Haryana: also known as the Right to Information in Haryana, pertains to the implementation of the Right to Information Act within the state. The official website for filing Online RTI in Haryana is https://rtionline.haryana.gov.in/. This website is dedicated to receiving and processing RTI applications.
Haryana RTI New User Registration
To use the Online RTI Portal in Haryana, users are required to register on the website. The registration process involves providing personal information such as name, address, contact details (Mobile Number & Email ID), Identity Proof (PAN / AADHAR / Voter ID etc.) and creating a UserName and Password.
On RTI Home Page Visit “For Citizen >> Citizens Login >> NEW USER Registration” section under Menu section:
After Clicking NEW USER Registration Citizen Registration Mobile verification dialog box will open
- Enter Mobile Number
- Enter CAPTCHA visible in Red Color
- On Submit an OTP will be received on your mobile, enter OTP and click Verify OTP button.
- Now, User Registration form for entering further details will appear
- Fill the details, enter CAPTCHA and click Submit button
- User is Registered and Login details are created.
File Online RTI Application in Haryana
Once registered, users can log in to the Online RTI portal and file their online RTI application in Haryana. The application form includes details such as the applicant’s name, address, contact information, and a clear and concise statement of the information being sought.
In Haryana there is Rs. 10/- RTI Application filing fee which can be paid online as well.
After filling RTI Application online or Offline, user will get RTI Information within 30 days of filling RTI Application. Otherwise there is a provision of financial penalty under RTI Act 2005.
Online RTI Haryana Fee Payment
The Online RTI portal facilitates the payment of the RTI application fee. The fee can be paid online through various available payment methods, including debit cards, credit cards, net banking, and other digital payment options.
Online RTI Haryana Application Fee is 10/- Rupees.
Tracking RTI Haryana Application Status
Applicants can track the status of their RTI application through the Online RTI portal. They can use their unique application ID or registered mobile number to check the progress of their application and any updates or responses from the concerned authorities.
Downloading Response
Once the information is provided by the public authority, the applicant can download the response from the Online RTI portal. The response may be in the form of a digitally signed document or a digital file.
RTI Haryana Appeal
If applicant is not satisfied with the reply of RTI Application or reply is delayed then applicant can file an appeal and ask for desired response and penalty for delay. Applicant can file 2 appeals, as mentioned below:
- First Appeal – can be filed in front of First Appellant Authority
- Second Appeal – An applicant can approach the Commission in Second Appeal under section 19 (3) of the RTI Act against the decision of the First Appellate Authority or when no decision is passed by the First Appeal Authority within the specified time limit i.e. maximum period of 45 days.
Second Appeal can be filed within 90 days of decision announced for 1st Appeal.
