OPSC Recruitment 2023: OPSC Released notification of 176(45+131) posts of Assistant Conservator of Forests(Group A) and Forest Ranger(Group B) on 29 May, 2023. Online applications are invited from the eligible candidates on official portal of Odisha Public Service Commission(OPSC) https://www.opsc.gov.in/ from 29 May, 2023.

Last date for submission of Online Application forms is 29 June, 2023.

Written Examination will be help at Cuttack, it may also be help at few other centres lacated in Odisha: Bhubaneswar / Balasore / Berhampur / Sambalpur.

Exam Date & Admit Card release dates will be announced later on the official website of OPSC.

Below 7 Vacancies are reserved for PwDs out of total 176 posts.

Post Preference:

Candidates required to give their preference for the choice of the post while applying online in the application form, out of:

1. Assistant Conservator of Forests(Group A)
2. Forest Ranger(Group B)

based on rank in the written test candidates will be able to choose post from their preference.

OPSC Vacancy Notification 2023 – Pay Scale:

The post available for recruitment are of Group-B having Pay Level – 10. See

Pay Scale Rupees 44900/- in Level 10 of pay matrix as per ORSP Rules, 2017.

Odisha ACF & Forest Ranger Recruitment 2023 – Age Limit:

Candidate Max age limit should be from 21 to 38 years. Min/Max age calculation will be done based on date 01.01.2023.

OPSC Recruitment 2023 – Educational Qualification

• Candidate must posses Bachelor’s degree with at least one subject out of Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, Veterinary science and Animal Husbandry and zoology.
  or
  Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Forestry or in Engineering or Equivalent Qualification.

• Candidate must know Odia, he must be able to read, write and Speak Odia language.

OPSC Recruitment 2023 – Application Fees

Application / Exam Fee is exempted for these posts.

OPSC Vacancy 2023 – Selection Process

Selection of candidates for these posts will be on the basis of 3 stages mentioned below:

1. Written Examination – 1400 Marks
2. Physical Test
3. Viva Voca – 200 Marks
