Pro-Active Divyang Pension Service Haryana

Chief Minister of Haryana expressed that the Pro-active Divyang Pension Service has the objective of granting automated pension benefits to Pensioners with Disabilities (PwDs). He stressed the commitment of the state government to ensure that all government services are provided directly to the doorsteps of beneficiaries.

Now, all Divyang Pension beneficiaries will not have to visit to the offices to get their pension benefits, those will be delivered by sitting at home.

It was revealed by the CM of Haryana that the Haryana Parivar Pehchan Authority will carry out monthly verification of information related to PwDs who have a disability exceeding 60%, and whose data is stored in the Parivar Informatics Data Repository.

He further informed that the District Officer of the SEWA Department will contact all such beneficiaries and take their consent getting the pension benefits. If all such beneficiaries give their consent, pension benefits will start from next month, informed the Chief Minister.

As per the CM’s statement, the District Officer of the SEWA Department will reach out to the qualified beneficiaries to obtain their consent for receiving pension benefits. If all the beneficiaries give their consent, the pension benefits will commence from the next month.

Benefits of Pro-Active Divyang Pension Service

• Pro-Active Divyang Pension Service has been started to provide benefits to Persons with Disabilities of Automated Pension.
• The relevant data of PwDs verified as more than 60% PwD in the Parivar Pehchan Patra Data Repository will be verified & certified by the Haryana Family Identification Authority every month.
• Data of all Divyang who will found eligible after verification by authority will be shared with the service department as per the eligibility criteria prescribed by the scheme. District Officer of the Service Department will then contact eligible PwDs to get their consent for starting the pension.
• Pension will be started next months for all the disabled who have given consent.
